The story of NextApparel is one woven from decades of dedication.

It began long before the brand was formally established, in the nimble hands of Mr. Khoo and Madam Tan. As seasoned seamstresses at the height of their craft, they were the "Tailor’s tailors," quietly servicing more than ten local establishments from their workshop at 13A Rambutan Road.

From Workshop to Brand

Quality of this caliber rarely stays a secret.

By 2006, word of their expertise had spread through social circles, and individual clients began arriving at the Rambutan Road workshop seeking the perfect fit.

However, the space was built for production, there was no room for fabric selection and no fitting rooms for clients.

Recognizing this growing demand, the children of Mr Khoo and Madam Tan stepped in to help their parents formalize their craft.

They founded NextApparel to provide a dedicated space where the family’s technical mastery could meet a modern customer experience.

The Next Step in Tailoring

On April 18, 2008, NextApparel moved to its current home at 510, Bedok North Street 3. This modern, minimalist workshop and showroom was designed to offer the "next step" in the Tailoring journey.

The name NextApparel reflects a dual mission: to represent the evolution of traditional tailoring into the modern era, and to be the definitive destination for a client’s next essential piece of clothing.

Today, under the guidance of Madam Tan, we remain strictly committed to the art of bespoke tailoring. We specialize in formal shirts, suits, and trousers for both men and women, with a primary focus on professional business wear.
